Where changemakers take the stage
A live, multi-camera talk and performance show produced in Buena Park — hosted by Archie L. Holton, built by students, powered by a mission.
The show
“At The Park” is shot live, in front of a studio audience, using a full multi-camera setup — the same format guests already know from national television, produced right here in Buena Park. Each episode brings together people of note and people who are, or have been, making a difference for extended conversation, live performance, or both.
It is built to do three things at once: promote the City of Buena Park as a place where good things happen, celebrate the people making a difference here and beyond, and hand real production experience to students from Buena Park Middle School and Buena Park High School.
The name does double duty. It plants the show in Buena Park and builds on Impact Studios’ existing local media presence — The Park, the city’s community-powered newspaper launched in 2024, and Buena Park TV, its student-staffed community channel.
Sample rundown
| Block | Runtime | Content |
|---|---|---|
| Hour 1 | 60 min | Audience warm-up and cold open, then two extended guest interviews. |
| Hour 2 | 60 min | Live performance segment, panel or dual-guest conversation, and a student-produced field segment. |
| Hour 3 | 60 min | Featured changemaker interview, closing performance, audience Q&A and wrap. |
The rundown is a flexible template — exact segment order and count varies by guest availability and content mix.
Meet your host
Archie L. Holton is CEO and Program Leader of Fulcrum Impact, and Executive Producer and host of “At The Park.” He is an entrepreneur, actor and executive coach with over twenty years of experience in transformative education.
Before stepping into media and coaching, Holton spent two decades operating his own plumbing business and, more recently, launched two restaurants. That track record now informs his work as a business coach — and it is what the show is built around: a host who has actually built businesses sitting across from guests who have actually made a difference, asking the questions a fellow builder would ask.
A stage for changemakers
“At The Park” is designed to be worth a guest’s time — not just a favor to a local nonprofit.
Apply to be a guestMore than a show
“At The Park” is staffed, in part, by students from Buena Park Middle School and Buena Park High School through the existing Buena Park TV program — a hands-on media classroom where students learn journalism, production, broadcast engineering and civic storytelling.
This matters most at Buena Park Middle School, a historically under-resourced school community where professional-grade equipment, mentorship and a real broadcast set are otherwise out of reach — and here students get a genuine live audience and a genuine air date they help run.
