Founders, community leaders, and nonprofit teams whose product is the change they create. You should have an idea, pilot, or early-stage venture with a clear community you serve — no formal business background is required.

What does the cohort curriculum cover?

Accepted Answer

Theory of change, impact measurement, blended capital and earned-revenue models, community partnership design, storytelling, and investment readiness. Each module pairs workshops with mentor working sessions on your own venture.

Question 3

How much time does the program take?

Plan on a 10-week hybrid schedule with a weekly live cohort session plus a few hours of applied work on your venture between sessions. Sessions are recorded so you can catch up when work or care duties get in the way.

Is there a cost to participate?

Most cohort seats are sponsored through our partners and university programs, so accepted founders typically pay nothing. If a seat carries a fee, we tell you before you commit and can discuss support.

Do you fund ventures that finish the academy?

Yes. Graduates can apply to the Fulcrum Impact nonprofit investment fund, which backs mission-driven ventures with capital, mentorship, and operating support rather than one-time grants.
