# Campaign Kickoff v4

Guests can expect an evening of conversation, community, and civic engagement as volunteers, supporters, and local leaders gather to discuss the importance of neighborhood involvement in local government. The campaign is also actively recruiting volunteers and encouraging residents to display yard signs in support of Franco’s re-election effort.

First elected to the Buena Park City Council in 2024, Franco has focused his tenure on strengthening neighborhood partnerships, supporting small businesses, expanding youth engagement, improving public spaces, and fostering collaboration between residents, nonprofits, and local government.

For Franco, however, the campaign is about something larger than a single election.

_“Running for office has never been about holding a title,”_ Franco said. _“It’s about building a city where neighbors know one another, where businesses thrive, where young people believe they have a future here, and where every resident feels they have a voice in shaping Buena Park’s next chapter. Campaigns come and go, but community is something we build together every day.”_

Throughout his first term, Franco has emphasized a philosophy of civic participation, encouraging residents to become active partners in improving their neighborhoods through volunteerism, community service, and public engagement.

The campaign kickoff reflects that same spirit, inviting supporters not only to attend but to become part of the effort.

Residents interested in volunteering may assist with neighborhood outreach, community events, voter engagement, and campaign activities throughout the election season. Those wishing to show their support may also request a campaign yard sign to display at their home or business.

_“Every conversation, every volunteer hour, every yard sign, and every act of encouragement reminds people that local government begins with neighbors caring about one another,”_ Franco said. _“This campaign belongs to everyone who believes Buena Park’s best days are still ahead.”_

Community members interested in attending the kickoff celebration, volunteering, or requesting a yard sign are encouraged to connect with the campaign through its social media channels or speak with campaign volunteers at the event.

As the campaign officially begins, Franco says his message remains rooted in the same principle that inspired him to first seek public office: meaningful change happens when communities work together.
