Election season is underway in Buena Park as Councilmember Carlos Franco and Congressman Derek Tran hit the campaign trail ahead of the November 3, 2026 General Election.
Franco is campaigning for re-election to Buena Park City Council District 2, highlighting priorities such as clean and safe streets, stronger local businesses, improved infrastructure, and responsive city government.
Tran is seeking re-election to represent California’s 45th Congressional District, which includes Buena Park. After winning the closely contested district in 2024, Tran is again campaigning throughout the community, with affordability and issues affecting working families among the major themes of the race.
With both local and congressional seats on the ballot, Buena Park voters will have an important voice in shaping their representation at City Hall and in Washington, D.C., on November 3, 2026.
