As one of Buena Park’s longest-serving civic organizations, the Noon Lions Club has supported countless local initiatives over the years, including vision screenings, scholarships, youth programs, community events, and charitable causes that strengthen the quality of life throughout the city.
During the ceremony, members reflected on the club’s proud legacy while looking ahead to a new year focused on expanding its impact through collaboration and service.
Newly installed President **Art Brown** shared a vision centered on partnership, community engagement, and increasing opportunities for residents to benefit from Lions service.
_“The strength of the Lions has always been found in neighbors serving neighbors,”_ said Brown. _“This year, my goal is to expand our service throughout Buena Park by partnering more closely with fellow Lions Clubs, the City of Buena Park, local nonprofits, and community organizations. Together, we can create more volunteer opportunities, complete more meaningful projects, and leave a lasting impact that benefits both our residents and the community we proudly call home.”_
Brown emphasized that the coming year will focus not only on traditional Lions service projects but also on building stronger relationships with organizations that share the club’s commitment to community improvement.
The installation ceremony also celebrated the dedication of outgoing officers whose leadership helped continue the club’s mission of service while preparing the next generation of Lions leaders.
Founded on the principle of **“We Serve,”** Lions Clubs International remains one of the world’s largest service organizations, with members volunteering millions of hours annually to address hunger, vision care, disaster relief, youth development, environmental stewardship, and humanitarian needs.
As the ceremonial gavel was passed to Brown, members expressed optimism for the coming year and reaffirmed their commitment to serving Buena Park through compassion, fellowship, and action.
With a renewed spirit of collaboration, the Buena Park Noon Lions Club begins another chapter of service—one rooted in the belief that communities grow stronger when people come together to help one another.
