13th Annual UCLA Social Enterprise Academy Venture Showcase

UCLA Alumni Affairs, the UCLA Department of Economics and the Academies for Social Entrepreneurship invite you to join the 13th Annual UCLA Social Enterprise Academy Venture Showcase, live on Zoom.

Three teams representing nonprofit organizations will pitch their business ventures for up to $30,000 in funding. Audience members will also have the chance to select the recipient of the Audience Favorite Award of $5,000.

• PS I Love You Foundation — social and emotional learning and resilience programs for at-risk youth from elementary through high school.
• Community Partners International — helping Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh meet essential humanitarian needs.
• Ashland Community Development Corporation — community services that help end socio-economic disadvantages for Baltimoreans and surrounding populations.
• Community Educating Others — basic and advanced educational opportunities plus social support services for residents in rural Virginia.
• Engineer Factory — increasing the number of students from underrepresented populations who pursue higher education and careers in STEM.
• Civil Air Patrol — emergency services and disaster relief missions nationwide.
• Jamaica Capital Building Fund — structurally safe, sound schools in rural and urban under-developed communities so children flourish and learn.
• Maleo Fellowship Program at UCLA — career planning, mentorship and leadership for exceptional students becoming global citizens.
• The SMART Ride — giving back 100% of every dollar participants raise to AIDS service organizations throughout Florida.
• Sabine High School Revitalization Project — refurbishing the historic school that sent hundreds of students to college and throughout the world.
